- Anthony Sorce
Anthony Sorce is a painter and a professor
of art based in New York City.
His work has been exhibited at galleries nationally and internationally, and is featured in many public and private collections including The Newark Museum in New Jersey, The Speed Art Museum in Kentucky and the Snite Museum of Art in Indiana.
Among other honors, Sorce was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1968 for his pioneering use of polyurethane foam as an artistic medium. In 2007, he received the Lauck Alumnae Award from the University of Notre Dame in recognition of his achievements and contributions in the field of visual arts.
